Wolves Win it all at the Niagara Falls Festival of Lights
The COW Minor PeeWee bring home the Championship at last weekends Festival of Lights Tournament in Niagara Falls.
The boys started the tournament Friday afternoon by defeating the London Jr. Knights by a score of 3-1, then on Friday night they went up against the Hamburg Hawks beating
them with a score of 4-3.
Saturday afternoon, the Wolves played the Sun County Panthers, winning the game with a 5-1 score. Later that night they played Huron Perth Lakers and lost their only game of the tournament 3-1.
On Sunday Morning bright and early the boys headed to the rink placing 1st in the rankings to face the Humber Valley Sharks in the Semi final game, winning in Overtime 5-4,
advancing them to the Finals.
The Final game Sunday afternoon was against the Sun County Panthers again and they came out strong against the COW boys but in the end our players came out on top winning the Championship 5-3.
This TEAM of boys continue to show the parents, fans and coaches that they are united as one, play and work
hard together as one.
