Remembering Jacob Downey

It is with a heavy heart that the COWHA Executive announces the sudden passing of long time Wolf Jacob Downey. Jacob was a phenomenal hockey player, athlete, student, friend, teammate, son, brother and overall person.

He will be missed by so many including all of those who had the opportunity to coach and work with Jacob. Our condolences go out to the entire Downey Family and foremost to his father Peter (Longtime Wolves Executive Member), his mother Laurie and his brother Greg as well as all past and present teammates and friends. 

For those that wish to pay respect to the a visitation will take place at the Stoddart Funeral Home, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay on Saturday, October 2nd from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00p.m. and Sunday, October 3rd from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00p.m.

Due to COVID-19: all guests are required to wear a face mask or face covering and social distance.
