Open Positions: Treasurer & Risk Management Officer
Submitted By Nelson Pereira on Friday, October 8, 2021
Treasurer
The Treasurer is a voting member of the board.  The Treasurer will be responsible for executing the accounts payable function, making bookkeeping entries, performing a monthly reconciliation of the association's bank account, and reporting monthly to the board.  This is a volunteer position with a time commitment of 4-6 hours per month, in addition to the monthly board meeting.

Risk Management Officer
The Risk Management Officer is a new position and will be a voting member of the board.  The Risk Management Officer will offer advice and guidance to the board, or players and their parents on legal/safety issues as required, and potentially liaise with the OMHA's Risk Management Office as required.  This position would be ideal for a current or retired legal professional or police officer and is a volunteer position.  The time commitment is difficult to determine in that, besides the monthly board meeting, there may be no requirement from month to month.

If you have an interest in either of these positions or would be interested in joining our board in a more general role, please send an email [email protected].
