U11's are Champions of the Fall Classic Tournament
Congratulations to the U11's who claimed victory in an OT win in the finals at the Fall Classic Tournament hosted by the Ajax-Pickering Raiders. The team's record in the round robin over two days of play was 3-0-1 with wins against North Central Predators, Markham Majors, Belle Tire, and a tie against Markham Waxers. The team moved onto the semi-finals and won 6-2 against Ajax-Pickering Raiders which landed them in the finals against the Northshore Whitecaps. The team showed true grit winning in 3 on 3 overtime by a score of 4-3. Congratulations to the Players and Coaches of the U11 team for the hard fought battles over the weekend! An honourable mention goes to all parents and guardians of the U11 athletes for supporting and assisting your players in being prepared to perform at such a high level!
