What a Weekend!!!
On Saturday October 20, 2012 the novice team played Clarington in Port Perry and on Sunday October 21, 2012 the team travelled to Oshawa to the Campus Ice.
Clarington is currently second in our division, and the coaches knew it was going to be a tough game. The boys came out playing hard from the beginning. It was a tough physical game and the boys stayed strong from the beginning to the end. It was 2-1 for Clarington after the first, and 3-2 after the second for Clarington. We tied Clarington in the third to hold on to a 3-3 tie. Goals were scored by Stacey, Staniland, and Langille, and the assists were from Peterkin, Revells, and Staniland. It was a great game by all!!!!!!!
On Sunday the boys played Oshawa, who are currently third. Although I was not at the game, the coaches were thrilled with the effort from the boys. They said "we were all over them, we out shot them, and the boys played great!!!!" Stacey, and Staniland had two goals a piece, Langille, Worsley, and Penna, each got a goal. Langille had three assists, Best had two, Heyes and Staniland each had an assist. The final score was 7-4 for the WOLVES!!!!!!!
