First Tryout
Hello Everyone,
It was great to see everyone come out to our first tryout. With 31 players hitting the ice and a lot of great talent, I was glad to be evaluating the players. I would like to thank everyone for coming out and trying their best. My job of selecting this team will not be easy, and yes that is good and I am very happy about it.
I would like to thank Scott Feasby for running the on ice program for the 1st tryout. I appreciate your help.
Now on to the 2nd tryout. Tomorrow night at 7pm the Midget Team will hit the ice for the second skate. Anyone still interested in trying out is welcome to attend.
I believe that we are now on our way to a great season. We still have a lot of work to do in a very short time, however I feel that we will overcome any obstacle in our path and have a very successful year.
I have a lot of people to thank for helping me out and I appreciate all of the help I have received since being named as Head Coach.
I wish all the best to the players at tryouts and hope that you will bring your best each night.
Remember that success is the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you did everything you could to perform at your best.
I am excited about this team and the possibilities that lie ahead.
