Hello,
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Brent Tupling, and I am the Head Coach of the 2015/16 Central Ontario Wolves AAA Major Midget Team. I am inviting all players born in 1998 and 1999 to come out to our tryouts in August 2015.
Here is a little about myself,
· Born and raised in Orangeville, On
· Played over 20 years of hockey including Junior C (at 13 yrs old) up to Junior A level.
· Offered NCAA hockey scholarship at Middlebury College, Vermont.
· Accepted a full scholarship at Seneca College and played for Seneca Braves Hockey Team
· On-ice instructor for Eastern Ontario Junior A Camp, Can-Am Hockey School, and Canadian Power Skating School.
· Completed Development 1 and High Performance 1 Coach Certifications
· Assistant Coach for two Junior C organizations.
· 2014/15 - Head Coach AA Minor Midget Team; first time team advanced to Tri-County Quarter Finals. Five of my players were recruited to Prep school in the United States. Two other players have been scouted for Junior A.
· My goal is to promote the highest level of skill development in players through the use of high tempo practise plans, to encourage players to accept disciplined team play and conduct themselves with integrity on and of off the ice. I want to enable various hockey opportunities for all my players.
With over 30+ years of high level hockey experience, I want to share this knowledge and develop my players to their optimal potential. My seasonal plan will include player evaluations with the end result being each player more developed and prepared to make the transition to the next level in their hockey careers.
For the 2015/16 season, I will showcase the team at all major tournaments, providing player exposure to various scouts and recruiters that will enable numerous options for their hockey future.
