Richmond Hill, ON - Congratulations to Jacob Durham of the Central Ontario Wolves who won this season’s OMHA Matt Duchene Shootout Challenge.
So what is the Challenge?
The Matt Duchene Shootout Challenge is an interactive game that accompanied the OMHA Events Team at tournaments and special events throughout Ontario this season. Contestants had twelve pucks to shoot at nine targets. The object of the game is to hit all nine targets in the fastest amount of time.
Jacob scored 6.88 seconds defeating the NHL Superstar Duchene’s time of 9:06 seconds.
“Matt Duchene is one of my favorite players and I can’t believe I beat his score,” explained Jacob, a resident of Port Perry.
Jacob perfected his skills by participating in the OMHA 5,000 Puck Challenge and shooting targets in his driveway.
For his victory, Jacob will win a Reebok stick autographed by Matt Duchene.
