Bantam's are Finalist at the Sudbury Big Nickel Tournament
Submitted By Jay Allen on Monday, November 7, 2016
It was a very successful weekend for the COW Bantam Team that went 5-1 with 31 Goals For and 3 Goals Against before losing a very tight 3-2 final to the Brantford 99'ers with 23 seconds remaining in OT.

Further success was found between the pipes as both goaltenders had multiple shut outs and two players were specifically recognized for their play. Logan Maunder - Voted to the Tournament All Star Team (Defence) and Owen Shier - Frank McCool Memorial Award Winners (Best Team Player). The team also enjoyed some great team bonding at the OHL Sudbury Wolves Game with Regan O'Grady (Former COW Wolf and current Assistant Captain of the OHL Sundbury Wolves). Great job boys!
