Playoff Update - Big day in COW Land
The Central Ontario Wolves is proud to give the following update on the teams that advanced past round one.
NOVICE: The Novices are currently playing Barrie for their birth in the OMHA Finals and are winning the series 2-1 (up 4 points to 2). The Novices have a chance to end the series TODAY at home in FENELON at 2:00PM. Please come out and support this talented group.
MINOR BANTAM: The seesaw battle with NCP continues after a win last night which puts your Minor Bantams up 2 games to 1. The Minor Bantam's have the ability to put away the Predators TONIGHT in SCUGOG at 7:30PM and continue their run to an OMHA Championship. After the Novice game in Fenelon please make the trip to Scugog for the Minor Bantam's.
BANTAM: After advancing past Quinte the Bantam's needed to beat YSE to advance. Although the series went to YSE the Bantam's put up a fight for all three games. In two of these games the score was tied going into the third. The Bantam's will get a chance at redemption and the OMHA Finals as they play a 1-game PLAY-IN against either Barrie or Peterbourgh Wednesday March 15th. Location TBD
MIDGET: The Midgets are in a battle with Markham that has the series at a win and a tie each or 3 points each in the race to 6. Their next game is in Markham (Village Arena) tomorrow at 8:00PM with a very important game back at home on Tuesday March 14th at 7:00PM in Scugog.
Please plan to attend as many as these games as possible and remember to wear your Wolves Jersey and or our Blue, Black and White.
