4 Wolves chosen in the U18 OHL Priority Selection Draft

What a day for the Wolves faithful as the OHL U18 Draft further supported the Wolves Midget program by selecting 4 players, 2 of which went in the TOP 10.

Eligibility for the 2017 OHL Under-18 Priority Selection included all Midget players (1999 and 2000 birth years) not currently on an OHL Member Team Protected List who were carded with an Ontario based Midget AAA Hockey Club within the Ontario Hockey Federation, Hockey Eastern Ontario, or Hockey Northwestern Ontario in the current season.

A total of 96 players were selected...

...in the five-round process from 46 different teams and included 49 forwards, 31 defencemen, and 16 goaltenders.  88 of the players selected are 2000-born, with eight born in 1999.

Creed Jones - Goalie
Selected by the Ottawa 67's

9th Overall
James "Jimmy" White - LW
Selected by the Flint Firebirds

89th Overall
Parker Sutton
Selected by the Hamilton Bulldogs

91st Overall
Ben Addison
Selected by the Kitchener Rangers

Congratulations to all the players, parents and coaching staff for a very successful year and outcome. These players being drafted from the Wolves is further evidence that COW is a on the scouting map for future prospects.
