Oh, it is On! Come watch the Wolves Alumni VS the Wolves Minor Midget!
Submitted By Jay Allen on Tuesday, August 8, 2017

This year marks the 25th Anniversary of the Central Ontario Wolves AAA Hockey Program. A program that has grown from the regional aggregation of local talent, to a formidable contender at the Provincial and National levels. Last season the Wolves . . .

. . . sent 3 of their 9 teams to the OMHA Finals against some of Ontario’s most talented teams and brought home a Silver and Gold Medal in the Minor Bantam and Novice age groups respectively. This coming April the association and Lindsay will host the 2017/18 Minor Atom OMHA Championships.

The program has
developed countless NHL/AHL/OHL/USHL/NCAA/CIS and Junior Hockey players, students and ambassadors of the game to whom the Wolves would like to congratulate.

To kick off the 2017/18 Silver Season the Wolves have released a commemorative anniversary logo and will be hosting the inaugural Wolves Alumni Game which will bring back some great alumnus and past talents to play our current Minor Midget Team. The Minor Midget season is considered the “big year” for many of these players as it is the year in which these players are eligible to be drafted to the OHL and USHL.

To show your support please throw on your old Wolves clothing, your blue, white and black and join us on Wednesday August 16th from 7:00 to 10:00PM (Puck Drop 8:00PM at Lindsay Rec. Center Pad 1 – No Entry Fees) for a night of fun, great hockey, a silent auction and to meet and greet Alumni such as Brady Austin, Mitch Bennett, John Corneil and more. There will also be an inter-squad Novice game between periods to showcase the young talent this region has to offer.

We thank-you for your support of your Central Ontario Wolves AAA Hockey Program and look forward to seeing you at the rink! Go.Wolves.Go.
