Bantams "Get Noticed" in Ottawa
Submitted By Jay Allen on Monday, September 11, 2017
Your Central Ontario Wolves Bantams were in the Ottawa AAA shootout this past weekend and in a word, simply . . . Dominated. With a record of 6-0, 28 goals for and only 5 goals against the Wolves were virtually untouchable.

After an early 3 to 0 lead with 2 short-handed goals over their arch rivals, the Peterborough Petes; COW Bantam's held on for a 3 to 2 win in the Gold Medal Game. Production came from all 3 lines, Power Play Goals were scored in every game and the Penalty Kill did not allow a single goal.

Cameron Kosurko led the tournament with 5 goals while himself and teammates Jacob Downey, Chase Stillman, Henry Brock and Alex Scoular all tied for the tournament points leader with 7 points each!

Coach, Steve Trumbull explained "The Coaches are extremely proud of the boys. All of their hard work the last 4 weeks has paid off nicely & as always our team unity wouldn't be possible without the support from our amazing parent group. A final shout out goes to the hardest working man on our team; our trainer, Mark Griffin."
