COW Peewee Team Hosts a very successful fundraiser for Karter Robertson
On Sunday February 18th, the Central Ontario Wolves Peewee team hosted a fundraiser for their good friend and teammate, Karter Robertson.
Karter was diagnosed with Leukemia in October 2017 and has been undergoing treatments since. Coming together and supporting Karter through this event is just one way to remind him and the entire Robertson family that their hockey family is here for them through this fight. The event was a huge success! A special thank-you to all those that made donations, volunteered and purchased silent auction items.
Your support means so much to the Robertson family. Our parent volunteers will continue to video each playoff game and provide their silly commentary – something we understand brings a big smile to Karter’s face!
The #55 jersey is hung behind the bench at all games – a constant reminder for the boys that Karter, while not on the ice with them, is still very much part of the team.
Karter’s spirit, enthusiasm and positive attitude continue to amaze all of us - he is a fighter. His hockey family will be by his side throughout this journey.
