Wolves faithful Carson Whitson signs with the OHL Mississauga Steelheads
A dream come true for this Uxbridge native and Central Ontario Wolves faithful as although drafted 228th overall in last years OHL entry draft (which in itself is a major accomplishment and personal goal) he recently signed with the Mississauga Steelheads of the OHL as a 16 year old after a very impressive main camp.
Congrats Carson! Great Job and we are all proud.
Carson's perseverance of his dream is further evidence that size is not a factor in determining talent and that the OMHA, the ETA and the Central Ontario Wolves continue to produce some of the league leading talents.
Steelheads coach James Richmond describes the Uxbridge, Ontario native as a “dynamic skilled forward” that has turned heads at camp, adding “we think Carson will be a very good OHLer very soon.”
