The Peewee team will start off this year's Pink in the Rink event on Saturday October 26 at 4:15pm at the Lindsay Recreation Complex as they host Kingston. There will be baked goods and "I'm playing for..." tags for sale before the game, and the tags will be displayed around the arena. All proceeds will go to Cancer research. The Bantam's will host Ajax-Pickering at 6:15pm and the Minor Bantam's will host Oshawa at 8:30pm, both in Lindsay.
In Port Perry, three other teams will host the Oshawa Generals at the Scugog Arena. The puck drops for the Minor Peewee's at 4:45pm, followed by the Midget Team at 6:15pm and the Minor Midget's at 8:15pm. There will be door prizes, toques and hats for sale, and a silent auction in Port Perry. Come on out and show your support at both arenas, while raising money for the Cancer Society. HOCKEY BATTLES CANCER!!
