Our Minor Atom Wolves competed in the Oshawa Challenge November 15th to 17th looking to bring home some hardware. After finishing 2nd in the preliminaries, they played the York-Simcoe Express in the semi-finals. The game finished in a tie and went to the 4th overtime, the Wolves beating the Express. In the final, the Wolves faced the Pickering Ajax Raiders for the Championship. After tying the Raiders in the preliminaries, they knew it was going to be a tough game. The Wolves went down 3-1, but battled back to tie it at 3, where it remained until the end of the game. Once again the boys were faced with overtime, however this time they were not as lucky, losing in the 2nd overtime.
The coaching staff and parents were very proud of these boys, as they battled hard all weekend and represented the organization well. Way to go boys!
