2020 BELL CAPITAL CUP CHAMPIONS!!
Submitted By Jennifer Buttar on Thursday, January 2, 2020
The Minor Peewee's started the year off right with their Bell Capital Cup Championship win on New Year's Day. The team went undefeated in six games over three days from December 30, 2019-January 1, 2020 in Ottawa, with the Championship game against The Gloucester Rangers held on Senators Ice at The Canadian Tire Centre. After a slow start in the final game, the team was on the wrong side of a 2-1 score going into the third period. However, they regrouped and finished with a final score of 4-2, clinching the championship. Congratulations to this very hard working group of players and the entire team staff!! This is the second time this time has attended and won this tournament, with a Championship win in Minor Atom on New Year's Eve,  December 31, 2017.
