NEWS FROM THE OMHA AGM
On Saturday June 12, 2021, the membership of the Ontario Minor Hockey Association voted on a motion to allow freedom of player movement for U14 through U18, inclusive.  The motion was carried and will be effective for the 2021-22 hockey season.

This motion has been brought forward by the Markham Waxers organization for the past several years due to their difficulty competing for players with the GTHL. It was defeated each year by a significant margin.  I suspect the fact that this year's AGM was not in-person and many delegates had trouble with the electronic meeting format had something to do with this result.

While the hockey landscape will change for 14 to 18 year old players, our commitment to provide the best AAA hockey experience to all of our players will not.  We look forward to tryouts in September and, as always, the new challenges that every hockey season brings.

Thank you for your continued support.

Yours in hockey,

Craig Yule
President & OMHA/ETA Delegate

Attach the Lock to your bag permanently or use as a stand alone lock. This equipment is easily picked up and very expensive. Stop Grab'N Go Thefts!
