Young hockey stars will compete at the breakfast table in a contest launched by the OMHA Thursday, March 01, 2012 Richmond Hill: - The Ontario Minor Hockey Association [OMHA] teamed up today with a famous NHL alumni and launched the Gary Roberts Eat To Compete Challenge, a contest to help OMHA players to develop better nutrition habits for a healthier approach to hockey and life.

Major Atoms had a successful weekend Sept 16-18, 2011 in Peterborough, they came home with the bronze medal in a field of 12 teams.   Friday Sept 16 - 12:45-2:00pm York Simcoe - WON 4-2 Friday Sept 16 - 4:45-6:00pm  Brampton -WON 6-4 Saturday Sept 17 - 11:45-1:00pm  Grey Bruce -WON 4-0 Saturday Sept 17 - 5:00-6:15pm  Toronto Titans -LOST 3-2 Sunday Sept 18 - 11:15-12:30pm  Quinte -LOST 7-1 Sunday Sept 18 - 3:45-5:00pm  Brampton - WON 2-1 for the BRONZE MEDAL Congratulations to the team for a great start to the season!

Attached are the tracking sheets and overview of the OMHA 5000 puck challenge.  The boys can use these as a guideline or follow them to a tee.  Either way we just want them to shoot pucks on a consistent basis.  Some people have been letting me know where the boys are at - thanks -  it would be great if everyone would send me an update once a month.  If you haven't seen it already the 5000 puck challenge is featured on the front cover of the OMHA Hometown Hockey magazine this month.
