The Ontario Minor Hockey Association [OMHA] teamed up today with a famous NHL alumni and launched the Gary Roberts Eat To Compete Challenge, a contest to help OMHA players to develop better nutrition habits for a healthier approach to hockey and life.

Major Atoms had a successful weekend Sept 16-18, 2011 in Peterborough, they came home with the bronze medal in a field of 12 teams.

Attached are the tracking sheets and overview of the OMHA 5000 puck challenge. The boys can use these as a guideline or follow them to a tee. Either way we just want them to shoot pucks on a consistent basis. Some people have been letting me know where the boys are at - thanks - it would be great if everyone would send me an update once a month. If you haven't seen it already the 5000 puck challenge is featured on the front cover of the OMHA Hometown Hockey magazine this month.
